Our Story
Storm Loss Consultants Inc.

Storm Loss Consultants Inc. is a Florida-based professional services firm that provides independent adjusting, property inspection, and documentation services for storm damage, flood claims, and other property damage claims. Our team consists of licensed All-Lines Adjusters and FCN card holders who work as independent adjusters on behalf of insurance companies. We bring more than 20 years of combined experience in construction, restoration, and insurance adjusting to every assignment.

Our Professional Background

Our professionals have extensive field experience in construction and storm damage restoration. This includes residential and commercial restoration work involving wind, water, and flood-related damage, as well as project coordination supporting general contractors in the management of post-storm and property damage repair projects.

In addition to our construction and restoration background, our team holds Florida All-Lines Adjuster licenses and works as independent adjusters for insurance carriers. We are experienced in preparing detailed property documentation and estimates using industry-standard platforms, including Xactimate, and we understand the documentation and reporting standards required in storm, flood, and other property damage claims handled on behalf of insurers. Our experience also includes flood claim work involving the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) under the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA.

Scope of Our Services

As independent adjusters, we provide professional inspection and documentation services related to:

  • Storm damage (wind, hail, and related weather events)

  • Flood and water intrusion claims, including NFIP / FEMA flood claims

  • Broader property damage claims

Our work focuses on:

  • On-site property inspection following storm, flood, or other property damage events

  • Photographic and written documentation of observed conditions

  • Preparation of detailed estimates using Xactimate

  • Support for general contractors and insurance company claim files

  • Documentation support related to Department of Homeland Security / FEMA flood claims under the National Flood Insurance Program

Important Clarification Regarding Our Role
Storm Loss Consultants Inc. and its licensed All-Lines Adjusters work as independent adjusters for insurance companies. We do not act as public adjusters. We do not represent policyholders. We do not negotiate settlements on behalf of insureds. Our services are limited to independent inspection, documentation, estimating, and reporting consistent with the scope of our Florida All-Lines Adjuster licenses and the assignments we receive from insurance carriers, including assignments related to NFIP / FEMA flood claims.

Our Approach

Accurate field documentation is essential after a storm, flood, or other property damage event. We approach every assignment with discipline and clarity:

  • Thorough, objective property assessment

  • Clear photographic and written records

  • Professional estimating practices using Xactimate

  • Practical construction and restoration knowledge applicable to storm, flood, and property damage scenarios

  • Support focused on providing reliable information for insurance company claim handling, general contractor project management, and NFIP / FEMA flood claim documentation

We do not control final coverage decisions. Those determinations remain with the insurance carrier or, in the case of NFIP claims, the applicable program administrator. The documentation and estimates we prepare are intended to reflect observed conditions and industry-standard estimating practices.

Experience and Standards

With more than two decades of combined experience in construction, restoration, and adjusting, our team understands both the physical realities of storm and flood damage and the documentation requirements of insurance and NFIP / FEMA claims. We maintain professional standards consistent with Florida licensing requirements for All-Lines Adjusters and conduct our work within the legal boundaries of that license as independent adjusters for insurance companies.

Storm Loss Consultants Inc. is committed to providing reliable, objective inspection and documentation services in support of insurance company claim handling and restoration projects involving storm damage, flood claims (including Department of Homeland Security / FEMA NFIP claims), and other property damage claims in Florida.
