Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

Storm Loss Consultants Inc.

Last Updated: [Insert Date]

This Refund Policy governs all fees paid for appointment bookings, property inspections, documentation services, and related professional services provided by Storm Loss Consultants Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida-based company whose professionals are licensed All-Lines Adjusters and FCN card holders.

By booking an appointment or paying any fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Nature of Our Services

Our services consist of professional property inspection and documentation. We inspect the property, photograph and document observed conditions, and prepare reports based on our observations.

We do not guarantee any insurance claim outcome, coverage determination, settlement amount, or payment from any insurance carrier. We do not control, influence, or participate in the insurance company’s claim decision. We are not responsible for, and have no authority over, any determination made by an insurer.

2. Fees Are Earned for Inspection and Documentation Services

All fees paid for appointments, inspections, and documentation services are compensation for the professional time, expertise, travel, and work performed in inspecting and documenting the property.

These fees are not contingent on:

  • The insurance company’s acceptance or denial of any claim

  • The amount of any insurance payment or settlement

  • The final outcome of any insurance claim

  • Any subsequent decision by the insurer, policyholder, or any third party

Once the inspection and documentation services have been performed, the fee is fully earned.

3. No Refund Based on Insurance Decisions or Claim Results

Because our role is limited to inspection and documentation, and because we have no control over insurance claim decisions:

  • We will not refund any fees based on an insurance company’s decision to pay, underpay, deny, or delay a claim.

  • We will not refund any fees based on the amount recovered (or not recovered) under any insurance policy.

  • We have no obligation to repay or reimburse any insurance company, policyholder, or client based on claim outcomes.

  • Clients remain solely responsible for their own insurance claims and any disputes with their insurers.

4. Appointment Cancellation and Refund Eligibility

Cancellation by Client

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time may be eligible for a full refund or credit, at the Company’s sole discretion.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, or failure to appear at the scheduled time (“no-show”), are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling requests made with at least 48 hours’ notice will generally be accommodated without additional charge, subject to availability.

Cancellation by Company
If we cancel or are unable to perform the scheduled inspection due to circumstances within our control, you will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid for that specific appointment, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Force Majeure / Weather
In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control that prevent the inspection from occurring, we will offer to reschedule at no additional charge. Refunds in such cases are at the Company’s sole discretion.

Please include your full name, appointment date and time, property address, and reason for the request. We will respond within a reasonable time.

6. No Waiver of Rights
